We sometimes make prototypes as we're figuring out new designs, clear out old inventory or have items that don't quite meet our high quality standards and get deemed as 'seconds'. They're all great, functioning items but since they don't meet our finished product specs you can snag them at a seriously discounted price.

These walnut bedframes are discounted because, well, we're perfectionists. There is some chatter / markings on the back of the headboard from the tooling we use to plane the material down to thickness. We noticed it and so are selling them on discount. However with it being on the backside of the bed, it's not likely to be noticed during use.
