Shipping Policy
For all in-stock items, we strive to ship them out within one business day (not including weekends and national holidays) from our home workshop in Vermont. This includes our time to process your order and get it to the carrier. After that, the carrier is responsible and there may be occasional delays.
We offer free shipping on orders over $75, except for large/heavy items going to PO boxes, Alaska or Puerto Rico (we’ve noted the exception in these items descriptions). We'll gladly ship to these locations but please contact me before purchasing for a shipping estimate to cover the additional cost.
For orders using free shipping, we have standardized on UPS Ground Saver (also called UPS SurePost) for most items but may use the US Postal Service for smaller, lighter weight orders. Orders shipped with either service generally arrive in 2-7 days and can be delivered to residential addresses on Sunday. Expedited shipping options are available to purchase at checkout for an additional cost, calculated based on your order and location.
At this time, we only ship domestically in the US and do not offer in-person pickup at our workshop. If you’d like to ship outside the US, there are freight forwarding companies available for hire that will finish the journey from a US warehouse to your final destination. We will happily ship to their warehouse but are not responsible for any damages, customs, duties, tariffs or taxes sustained during transport outside the US.
Winter Delays
Please note that since we are located in a small town in Vermont, there may be occasional delays due to winter weather that are outside of our control. Winter snow storms happen on a regular basis here and it takes time for the roads to be plowed and power restored when it goes out. We will do our best to communicate any delays and get your order on its way as soon as possible.
